Christchurch is a Local Ecumenical Partnership of the Methodist and United Reformed Churches, and is near to the town centre in St Mary's Square on the Exning Road.

1) International Women’s Group (IWG)
Currently closed due to Covid restrictions.
IWG warmly welcomes women of all cultures, customs and backgrounds to Christchurch, Newmarket, to enjoy coffee and cake, share experiences, meet new friends and find support with living away from home.

2) Mobility Aids Loan Service
Opening Times (Tel: 01638 666456)
Tuesdays 10.30 am - 12.30 pm
Fridays 10.30 am – 12.30 pm
Service is still available but with restrictions due to Covid. Please ring to enquire and leave a message. Someone will get back to you.
Back rests, Bath seats and boards, Bed cradle, Bed over table, Commodes, Crutches, Leg raisers, Perching stools, Raised toilet seats, Shower stools, Toilet surround frame, Walking frames/sticks, Wheelchairs: transit/self propelled, seat sizes 13" to 22". There is a deposit of £20 for the wheelchair
For smaller items a small deposit of £10 is requested. This can be returned to you or donated to the mobility aids service if you wish.
3) Women's Institute (WI)
On the 2nd Wednesday of each Month 7.30pm to 9.30pm.

4) The Stable
See the separate page for The Stable, which is on the High Street (opposite WHSmiths). The building was the United Reformed Church, and now offers a very special Christian outreach to the town.
Church Hall and Kitchen:
The church hall and kitchen facilities are available to hire from £10 per hour. Please contact Mr Maurice Woollard (Tel: 01638 664387)for details.
Facilities available for people with disabilities:
We have a loop system in the church and large print copies of Singing the Faith.
Two toilets; one disabled toilet also with baby changing facilities.
The church itself has no parking, but we are allowed to park at Foley House (Children's Centre) on Sundays or we have to use public carparks.

Access to main church available via a ramp.
