Ely Methodist Church
A People Friendly Church
Ely Methodist Church, 13 – 15 Chapel Street, Ely, CB6 1AD
Ely Methodist Church is situated halfway down Chapel Street in Ely
Ely Methodist Church has a Victorian exterior but you will find a modern, light interior with comfortable seats and a warm welcome. The church can also be accessed from St. Mary’s Street car park via a gate in the rear wall. Here you will find our hall, modern kitchen and other rooms.
Our services range from the traditional to ‘café style’ family services, accompanied by the organ, piano and occasionally guitar. They include twice monthly communion services and a monthly discussion service.
We hold a range of mid-week meetings with bible study, prayer groups, Wesley Guild, shoppers’ lunch and drop in coffee sessions.
We hold coffee mornings on the 4th Saturday in the month to support church funds, the current church charity and other charities.
A number of community groups also use our premises during the week, including Brownies, Scouts and Cruse.
The Minister is Rev. Joanne Sherwood Telephone :01353 662426
